Mexican jazz ensemble 5to Elemento presents a retrospective spanning more than 25 years of musical activity, drawing from their extensive discography including their latest release Cinco x Cinco on the Urtext label. The programme explores diverse languages of jazz and improvisation, performed in the intimate Anfiteatro Simón Bolívar at the Colegio de San Ildefonso, home to Diego Rivera's first mural. This is a rare chance to hear one of Mexico's most enduring jazz groups trace their evolution through representative works from across their career.
