The Pavel Loaria Big Band infantil y juvenil brings concert jazz and big band repertoire to the Anfiteatro Simón Bolívar, the intimate hall at San Ildefonso that houses Diego Rivera's first mural. The programme features Duke Ellington, the architect of orchestral jazz in the first half of the 20th century, alongside works by Pavel Loaria, John Coltrane, Curtis Fuller, Nat Adderley and others. Entry is free, and the young musicians deliver a serious programme in one of the Centro's most storied spaces.
