Mezcalería Santo Gusano

This Oaxacan restaurant and mezcalería in Centro Comercial Santa Fe features over 600 mezcal labels and a menu rooted in traditional Oaxacan cooking — comal-fired dishes, mole, and a rotating monthly special. Singer Carlos Rivera discovered the Santo Gusano mezcal brand on tour in 2020 and partnered with maestro mezcalero Don Francisco Jerónimo Núñez to open the restaurant, which pours the brand's signature citrus-forward, lightly smoked mezcal alongside hundreds of other labels. Each dish on the menu comes with a suggested mezcal pairing.

The space features Oaxacan-inspired décor across two floors, with a terrace upstairs and a small play area for kids. Located between Sanborns and Liverpool in the mall, accessible from the exterior. Moderately priced for the experience, with complimentary tastings offered when you arrive. The mole is what to order, especially with a recommended pairing from the extensive mezcal selection.
