Handshake Speakeasy holds the number one spot on The World's 50 Best Bars list — and getting in requires booking weeks ahead or lining up for the walk-in queue. The cocktail menu leans into playful, unexpected flavor combinations: peanut butter and jelly, banana split, fig martini, matcha dame blanche, and a yuzu matcha that's no longer on the menu but bartenders will still make if you ask.

The unmarked entrance on Calle Amberes opens into a small, dimly lit space with an intimate setup — expect a 90-minute seating limit to keep the line moving. Cocktails run on the higher end but the execution and creativity back it up. Reserve through their website or show up around 5:30pm to join the walk-in line; they start seating around 6:30pm.
