Xochimilco Oculto Kayak

This outfitter runs guided sunrise kayak tours through Xochimilco's ancient canal system, paddling through narrow waterways that see little tourist traffic. Tours typically depart around 5am to catch first light, and guides take photos along the route while sharing details about the 600-year-old chinampas and local wildlife.

After the paddle, breakfast is available on-site — chilaquiles are a solid option — and there's a small ajolotario (axolotl sanctuary) you can visit. The venue also offers horseback riding.
