Utopía Olini is Iztapalapa's largest sports and recreation complex, built around the concept of movement as collective action. The grounds include a wave pool, ice rink (occasionally closed for maintenance), skate park, bike circuit, running track, artificial lakes with ducks, and geodesic domes housing free workshops ranging from dance to psychological support.
Everything here is free to use—swimming, skating, cultural programs. You'll find soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts, and a temazcal (check schedules at reception). The space stays open until at least 8pm most days. Parking costs around 37 pesos, which some regulars find steep compared to other public sports facilities in the city.
Highlights
Free wave pool and ice rink, skate park and bike circuit, artificial lakes with ducks you can feed, free cultural and sports workshops in geodesic domes, temazcal available by appointment
