Tokyo Music Bar is a hi-fi analog listening bar tucked on the second floor of a building in Little Tokyo, with a sound system built for vinyl and a cocktail menu built for Japanese whisky. The concept mirrors sister locations in Tokyo's Ginza district, down to the candle-lit low lighting and vinyl-only music policy across decades—60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s selections spun on high-end equipment. It's been recognized by The World's 50 Best as one of the city's standout cocktail bars.

The space is small and fills up quickly, so reservations are essential—walk-ins wait or get turned away on busy nights. The cocktails are well-executed but sized for sipping, not a night of heavy drinking, and the food menu is minimal (mainly tostadas with fish). Sit at the bar for the best experience—you'll be close to the bartenders and the turntables.
