Tandoor San Angel

Founded in 1986, Tandoor was the first restaurant to bring authentic Indo-Pakistani cuisine to Mexico City. The name comes from the clay oven central to this cooking style, and the San Ángel location keeps that tradition going with dishes cooked in the traditional tandoor. The space is family-friendly and works well for groups.

The menu covers both Indian and Pakistani standards, and the kitchen prepares halal options. It's about a 15-minute walk from El Bazar Sábado on weekends if you're making a day of it in the neighborhood.
