Somos Voces

Somos Voces is the largest and longest-operating LGBTQ+ bookstore in Latin America, anchored in Zona Rosa at the heart of Mexico City's queer community. The space holds the most extensive specialized catalog on gender, feminisms, sexual diversity, human rights, and masculinities in the region — plus the bookstore runs its own publishing house.

Beyond books, the venue operates as a café-restaurant and cultural forum, hosting monthly events including health clinics, vaccination drives, talks, workshops, and community gatherings. The café serves dishes like cauliflower wings alongside drinks like mazapán lattes. Small space but built for connection — tables for groups and quiet corners for solo reading.
