Salón Acme

Salón ACME is an annual contemporary art fair held every February in a beautifully decayed early 20th-century mansion in Juárez. The building itself — deliberately preserved in its state of abandonment, with peeling paint and exposed brick — creates an atmospheric backdrop for emerging galleries and independent artists from Mexico and beyond.

The fair runs for four days and draws an international crowd more interested in concept-driven work than blue-chip names. Beyond the February edition, ACME hosts guided visits, talks, and programming throughout the year. Expect large crowds during Art Week — buy tickets well in advance, as the fair has sold out weeks before opening in recent editions.
