Founded in 1938 by university students, Pentathlón Deportivo Militarizado Universitario (PDMU) is a civilian paramilitary organization focused on physical training, discipline, and nationalist values. The headquarters on Sadi Carnot serves as a training center for members across multiple generations, offering programs in boxing, military-style drills, and character development under the motto "Patria, Honor y Fuerza" (Homeland, Honor, and Strength).
The organization runs weekend boxing classes on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 1pm, open to new recruits. The facility includes a chapel with excellent acoustics and offers various courses and activities — stop by to ask about current programming and enrollment.
