This small family-run spot serves Indian and Bangladeshi food cooked by a native chef and his wife. The samosas come stuffed with spiced ground beef, the onion bhaji (chickpea-battered fried onions) hits the spot for onion ring fans, and the butter chicken is the standout — tender chicken in a silky, mild curry. The naan bread comes plain or topped with onion or cilantro, and the kashmiri pulao (sweet rice with raisins and peanuts) makes a good side.

The lunch menu from 1pm to 4pm on weekdays includes pakoras, choice of protein, basmati rice, naan, and salad. Service is friendly and attentive, though dishes are made to order so expect a bit of a wait. The space is small and the prices are easy on the wallet.
