Opened in May 2024, UTOPIA Ceylan transformed the old Deportivo Ceylán into a sprawling recreational complex serving the Azcapotzalco community. The facilities span sports (swimming pool, soccer field with bleachers, squash and frontón courts, boxing ring, skating rink on acrylic surface, gym with weights, spinning), cultural workshops (robotics, dance, music, cabaret), and social services including a senior day center, children's center for kids under 12, medical and physical therapy offices, speech therapy, and even a veterinarian.You'll also find a tortillería, a dining hall serving meals, a laundry service, and a well-stocked La Tierra produce shop selling farm-direct goods. Most activities and services are free, though some like swimming and robotics require advance registration due to high demand. The complex includes extensive green areas, playgrounds, and a dog-friendly zone. Meals at the dining hall run around eleven pesos.
