Jardín Escénico Chapultepec

A 17-acre performing arts garden tucked into Bosque de Chapultepec, Jardín Escénico Chapultepec opened as a modernist landscape project designed by Michan Architecture and Parabase. The space blends pavilions for concerts and rehearsals with walking paths, outdoor seating areas, and a café, transforming a formerly abandoned plot near Auditorio Nacional into a quiet spot for culture and downtime.

Free concerts—including performances by the Coro de Madrigalistas de Bellas Artes—take place regularly in the garden's open-air forum. The setting mixes contemporary architecture with green space, making it an easy stop for reading, coffee, or a picnic between museum visits. Security presence is strong, and the space stays open 6am to 11pm daily.
