Habita Hotel

Habita opened in 2000 as the first property from Grupo Habita, setting the template for design-focused boutique hotels in Mexico City and establishing a permanent address on Avenida Presidente Masaryk in Polanco. The minimalist rooms lean Scandinavian, with clean lines and simple fixtures, though bathrooms show their age. The rooftop was one of the city's earliest terraces, and it remains a draw — pool, fireplace seating, and day passes available for non-guests who want access to the deck and bar.

Facilities include a spa offering massages and treatments (book ahead by email and phone), a sauna, and an on-site barbershop. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch with that same Nordic aesthetic. Service is generally helpful, though front desk protocols can be inconsistent. Parking is valet and comes with a charge.
