Gato Calavera

Gato Calavera is a small, multi-floor venue in Narvarte dedicated to punk, hardcore, metal, and post-punk shows. The space has two stages — one upstairs in a former ballet rehearsal room, one downstairs — and serves cheap beer by the caguama. Expect karaoke nights, DJ sets, and live band showcases in a no-frills setting where the crowd comes for the music and the scene, not the polish.

Entry is typically affordable, and the vibe leans hard into counterculture. There's a marked smoking area, and the cellular signal inside is spotty. The venue has relocated from its original Roma location to its current spot on Viaducto, just a few blocks from Metro Centro Médico.
