Aroma Curry

Aroma Curry serves authentic Indian food in Anáhuac — the kind where spices are complex, not just hot, and everything's made to order. The butter chicken is what regulars come back for, alongside naan with garlic, mutton rogan josh, and fish tikka with basmati rice and paratha. There's a full vegetarian menu, and the chai and mango lassi are worth ordering.

The space is small, set on the second floor of a building with air conditioning and straightforward service. Portions lean moderate but the spicing can be heavy if you're not used to it, so pace yourself. Open Wednesday through Monday from noon to 9:30pm. Street parking only.
