Alguito Vegano

Alguito Vegano is a completely vegan, cruelty-free cafe and restaurant in Condesa, with everything made from organic ingredients. The menu runs from chilaquiles with tofu and enmoladas to chicharrón tacos (made with plant-based protein, APV), seta (mushroom) tacos, and a standout banana loaf. Sweet options include a peach crumble and a gluten-free guava cheesecake made with organic soy cream cheese and a flax crust.

The space is pet-friendly and service is friendly, though the kitchen can take a while — they sometimes send out complimentary taquitos while you wait. Prices are on the higher end for vegan fare in the city, but everything is organic. Hours vary: Monday opens at 8am and closes at 3pm, Tuesday 9am–5pm, and Wednesday through Saturday 9am until after 10pm.
