Agustín Melgar Olympic Velodrome

Built for the 1968 Summer Olympics, this historic velodrome in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City complex has evolved from cycling track to open-air concert venue. The stadium offers mid-sized capacity with solid sightlines from the stands — close enough to the stage that even back rows feel connected to the action.

The location is easy to reach by Metro (Velódromo station on Line 9, named after the venue itself and marked with a bicycle racer silhouette), and the open-air setup means good acoustics for outdoor shows. Note that portable bathrooms are the standard here, and food and drink prices run high, as they do at most concert venues across the city.
